Acknowledgment

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Tongva land on which I live, work, and create, the Tongva people (Gabrielino-Tongva). With deep respect, I also honor the Chumash people, whose lineage and stewardship of these coastal lands extend back long before Los Angeles existed. I recognize that sovereignty was never ceded. This land holds deep memory, lineage, and a living energetic field that continues through it. It is, and always will be Indigenous land.
